The folks at Mindfield Games in Finland have revealed a new gameplay trailer and the alternate history timeline for P.O.L.L.E.N, a fully interactive first-person virtual reality game set in space.
Inspired by films such as 2001: A Space Odyssey and Moon, P.O.L.L.E.N begins with the failed assassination of President Kennedy. Both NASA and Soviet space researchers join forces and with significant advancements in space technology, build a base on the moon.
Pioneering organisation is space exploration Rama Industries soon discover one of Saturn’s moons, Titan, the only moon in the solar system capable of inhabiting life. A team of five were researching Titan on an established space station known as ‘M’, that is until one of them goes missing. It’s now your job to head on up there and find out what is going on.

In conjunction with the release of the trailer you can now vote to greenlight P.O.L.L.E.N on Steam, a process that allows Steam users to vote for what indie titles they want to see become available to purchase.
P.O.L.L.E.N is set to launch in early 2016 on PC and will support various virtual reality devices such as HTC Vive, OSVR, Oculus Rift. It will also be available for PS4 and PlayStation VR later that year.
