It’s nearing the end of January and I’m sure your gym is full and every morning there is the joggers on the pavements burning off all the indulgencies from the holidays. Boohoo and MissGuided have released some amazing sportswear trends and the high street has some fab fitness fashion for you to choose from. If you are thinking of getting on the treadmill this season then some new fitness gear will help make your workouts that bit more fun and motivational. Plus, getting new fitness pieces is another excuse to show them off whilst working up a sweat!
So, here is some inspiration and some affordable pieces for you to choose from…
A sports bra is essential when working out (you know why) and there is plenty of colours and styles to choose from. Whether you are keeping it minimal with a monochrome bra or going for a bright pink or blue to show off under that loose white vest.
At the gym there is nothing more annoying that that top which slides back and gathers at the neck or that one that you are constantly pulling back down when it rides up. On the high street you will find soo many options for you to choose from, I say pick a few options in style and colour so you can change up the look day to day.
When it comes to sports leggings you want comfort and style in one, above is a few options which are just that. There are any patterns, designs and lengths for you to decide on depending on your style and preference. If you like patterned sports leggings; pair with a simple top and maybe a bright sports bra and/or trainers, and vice versa!
It’s still pretty cold out so when walking to the gym or track you want a nice sweat to throw on and keep you warm. We love a classic hoodie that goes with everything but don’t think it stops there, go for a cropped one or a cool mesh sweat to change things up.
If you don’t have a big budget for those branded pair of trainers you want, don’t worry there are plenty of other options in the shops such as these ones above at New Look, BooHoo and Miss Guided; just add the others to your wish list for later! Remember to avoid injury you want comfort and stability, but don’t worry there are many trendy trainers out there which fit into budget!
So, you will need a sports bag to carry a change of clothes, towel and water etc. This doesn’t have to be a carrier bag, you can do better than that! Choose from backpacks, stylish drawstrings (yes…really!) or a large carrier. Whether you like fabric, leather or canvas, there are some real steals under £30 out there!
Have fun working up a sweat and looking super stylish at the same time!
